We do not collect any identifiable information of those either visiting the website or downloading, subscribing or listening to our podcasts.

We may collect some information during the process of locating, contacting and liaising with people with a view to them being guests on the show.

* We currently collect and process the following information in those circumstances:

Your name

Your email address / social media handle

Your hobby/role/expertise (that is, the reason we have approached you for an interview)

Your phone number (so we can contact you to arrange an interview)

Your address (on occasion this may be requested so we can meet for the interview)

*How we get personal information 

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you, either on the social media where we saw a public-facing post that was of interest, or on a website where your email was mentioned, or when we asked you to send us it on an email when we wanted to invite you on the show.

* Why we have this information 

We collect this data so that we are able to approach you for an interview and to hold accurate details of those we have approached so we don't approach you for a period of time, or again if that is what you wish. We also hold it in case we need to contact you in the case of a future interview request, or if we need to contact you if we need to postpone or cancel an arranged interview.

We do not share this information with anyone else without your express wish.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(b) We have a contractual/legal obligation.

(c) We have a legitimate interest.

Your information is securely stored on a password-protected computer and phone.
